Bleeding

Hi, I'm 9w5d. This is my first pregnancy, and I have bleed twice now. First time was last week, and I passed a blood clot (very scary)! Went to doc & everything is perfectly fine. This morning I started bleeding again, no clots, but a lot more than last time...went right through my undies to my shorts. Went back to the doctor and he said baby is perfectly fine, heart rate is perfect, and everything is good. He said I may see more bleeding throughout my pregnancy, but since baby has been perfect with these two episodes it most like is going to be fine in my long term pregnancy.  I also have some cramps today...just putting my feet up and relaxing. 

Has anyone else had similar issues during their pregnancy?

    I have the same issue, but my doctor detected a blood clot in my uterus...but baby seems to be fine as well. i am 9 weeks along too!

    doctor just said to relax and no intercourse or exercising til the bleeding stops.

    I bled with my first child at7 weeks. My dr put me on bed rest for 3 weeks and then restricted my work schedule another 2 months. I was places on extra progesterone which subsided the cramps and stopped the bleeding. I continued with cramps the whole pregnancy but had a healthy boy 7 weeks early. I'm now on my 4th pregnancy and my dr immediately puts me on extra progesterone to keep me from mis carrying. Maybe my dr is more conservative, but I know if I were to bleed, I'd have immediate bed rest. Just go cautiously and don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

    I am currently 9 weeks and 2 days.  I too bled for just over a week starting in week 7.  The first day it started was on a sunday and there were a few spots of red blood which then turned to a dark brownish color.  I had intercourse earlier that morning which the dr said was the cause due to so much blood flow down there.  I called the dr again two days later because it had not subsided.  They said since i was coming in early the next week for my check up and it was still dark in color not to worry.  I went to my check up and they didnt seem concerned at all since it was still dark in color and "old blood."  In total it lasted about 12 days.  It stopped the day after i went to the dr and have been fine since.  I have my next check up on aug 6th.  I have also read that this happens in about 50% of women and to only worry if it is red.  Hope this helps some!  Wish you the best!

    I am also 9 weeks and had bleeding on and off starting in week 7. Saw the Dr the day after it began and she saw a subchorionic hemorrhage in my uterus, so no work, and lots if rest and fluids is what she prescribed. Perhaps she is more conservative because i am pregnant with twins, but she has me in once a week to check on it. It is very common to have bleeding/spotting while pregnant, but it can be caused by lots of different things so go with your gut if your concerned and ask for another follow up. Good luck!
