DS is just about 6 months and we'll be starting solids soon. If you skipped rice cereal what was the first pur?e you gave your LO?

I tried LO with the rice cereal and she wasn't interested in something that tasted the same as her bottle. I gave her watermelon in a mesh cloth once and that was insane with her reaction! So I had decided to skip the cereal and just go straight to sweet potato as well. I mix a little cereal in with it as well.
