OK, so I just recently heard of this and have been giving my twins purees for a couple of months now. I'm a FTM and don't know much about BLW as far as how to give them the foods, etc. Like what size does the food need to be? I'm all worried about them choking. Can anyone give me advise on this or lead me to a website that has some good info?
Thanks!
Re: BLW question
There's a book called "Baby Led Weaning" - very easy read, gives you all the details... I'd recommend looking for it (at your library if you don't want to purchase).
Foods should be cut into sticks (like french fry size) at first because of the way LO's grab food and get it to their mouths. When they start perfecting their other grasps, they'll learn to pick up smaller pieces.
