Two Under 2

2u2 times 2

Hello ladies!

I used to post here semiregularly, but then I had a baby and well... we all know how that goes :Anyhoo, DH and I joined the 2u2 club for the second time on April 23, and only have a few days left as DD2 will be turning 2 next week.

I must admit, I don't remember 2u2 being this hard the first time around. But then again, DD2 was a MUCH better sleeper than Baby Boy here. I honestly think things would be 1000 times easier if Baby Boy slept as well as his sister did. Because other than the sleep deprivation, I can't complain. DD1 took to her little brother right away, and while DD2 showed a bit of jealousy, she makes it obvious that she loves her little brother as well.

Things are finally getting a little easier (let's hope I am not jinxing myself by saying that!) so hopefully I can start posting more often.

Oh and to everyone asking if a double stroller is worth having, I will say this: every kid is different, but as far as I'm concerned, my Chicco Cortina was worth every penny. Heck I think a triple stroller might have come in handy, as both my girls still love to ride in the stroller :D

And now if you don't mind, allow me to AW a little 2u2 love

What's that on Baby Boy's belly, you ask? Let's have a closer look...

DD2 was playing with her Hello Kitty figurines, and she thought it would be nice to share with her little brother, so she gave him one to play with lt <3

Re: 2u2 times 2

  • Congrats on your little boy! My second round of 2u2 was much harder than the first, as well! It seems like the third baby is always a bad sleeper, from what a lot of other moms and I have experienced. My third is now 14 months old, and still wakes up between three and five times a night! Argh! I hope your little boy starts sleeping for you much sooner than that.

  • My 2nd round of 2u2 was actually easier - but DS is an AWESOME baby.  He's almost a year old (in just a few days!) and it has crossed my mind to go ahead and throw our 4th (and last) into the mix now.  LOL.  People already look at me like I'm crazy, so who cares?!  Ha!

Probably so. Looks like our oldest kids are about the same age. Mine turns 4 in September.
