Hi ladies (and maybe gents?) -
I am looking for one of those nifty potty training/transitional toilet seats that integrates the child seat and the adult seat so they are all attached. I want a white, elongated seat with a slow or whisper close feature. I have found the Bemis, Kohler, and Mayfair seat and eliminated the Mayfair since it does not appear to have a slow close hinge.
My concern is that they all seem to have a bunch of positive reviews and then negative reviews from people coming back and saying their hinges fell apart or that there was a redesign on the hinge and it is cheap and falling apart now.
Has anyone found a non sucky version of this product? I love the idea of not having the removable toilet ring that you have to put on and take off and figure out where to stow when you aren't using it. Thanks for the help : )
Re: Potty Training slow close toilet seat- bemis? kohler? mayfair???
We have the Bemis with Whisper close. My 3.5 yr old likes being about to flip it down. He can use a regular seat but is still more comfortable on this one.
We already had a Bemis seat so it was really easy to just switch it out for this one.
