Weekend plans

What are your weekend plans?

 

My FIL is in for the weekend. We have a couple of options on the table right now, and are undecided. There is Touch a Truck, where there are a ton of trucks, ambulances, Fire trucks, etc, and all the kids get to touch them and take pictures with them. The pool is also an option. Going wine tasting is also an option.

 

But, right now I am hung over from our date night last night and can't find my motivation.

    DH's best friend is cooking out for dinner tonight. He got a new grill/smoker and adequate shading for their patio, so he wants to test it out. They have a baby 2 weeks younger than ds, so he has someone to play with of his own strength!

    Sunday we're eating lunch with my mom and meeting up with a friend from our hometown. Ds will have to take an afternoon car nap, probably.

    Today we will be running errands and having a frozen yogurt date with a friend of mine who is in town for the weekend.

    Tomorrow a different friend who is visiting will stop by and we will have dinner at my parent's house. 

    I should fold laundry at some point, but we'll see if that happens...

    Today = housework this morning, going to my parents this afternoon.  I need to use my mom's sewing machine to hem pants for DH for a wedding next weekend, and to work on blackout curtains for Charlotte's room at their house.  DH is going to help my dad install a new garage door.  This evening we will probably go on a walk, cook dinner, and watching a DVD after Charlotte goes to bed.

    Tomorrow = no plans.  Probably gym and maybe the pool?

    It's a boring weekend here.  I just got back from NOLA and we're going to a wedding in KY next weekend, so we're taking it easy.

    Today is major cleaning day. DH is working on the backyard and helping inside the house too. He's sweeping right now. I love having the help!
    Tomorrow we are reserving for family fun time. Don't know what we'll do but I'm looking forward to time together.

    I waiting for a family to come pick up my piano that I am selling to them. It's gonna be sad to see it go, but I haven't played it in over 10 years, all it is doing here is collecting dust and holding pictures. I would rather it go to a family who can use it. Then I am hopefully buying a new rug and cleaning my house this weekend. It's been a long time coming.
