Lol I just wonder what he's up to in there his movements are so strong sometimes it catches me off guard and I feel like he's going to break out of my stomach!! Today he made my stomach shake for a few minutes I got scared felt like he got stuck or having a seizure or something then after he started moving again and I felt better. But he is stronger than I thought he would be but I'm a FTM what do I know.
I've always wondered if baby causes the water to break or if it just happens naturally...I may just have to google it.

No one knows for sure what starts the chemical chain reaction that begins labor, but experts point to a number of complicated factors, including brain signals from the fetus. ("Ready or not, here I come, Mom!")

I know right. My first never kicked this hard. I swear I have a baby alien about to burst forth in there.
right? He is pushing out my skin like, 3 inches. It hurts!!
I think normally when you are ready chemicals are released that weaken the bag along with softening the cervix and all that jazz. But this kid man. He's like wreck it Ralph in there!

disCovery channel did i documentary called in the womb and they claim the lungs secrete a hormone when they are mature that kickstarts everything
I've never heard of that. But I'm convinced that my LO is trying to break out daily. I was actually looking forward to that time frame when TB says "baby might not move as much"... Is that bad?
I've been wondering this too. I don't remember DS1 being quite this strong. This LO's kicks have been kind of painful since a little after 20 weeks and he hasn't slowed down one bit.
