  I had both for different reasons.  Hulu was a lot better for shows and Netflix for movies. But I only had the Netflix stream. I got rid of both when I went back to work bc I rarely used it. 

  Not sure your aware of this, but Amazon also has a movies/shows library with lots of freebies for Prime members. 

  Btw - how are you feeling? Is your pregnancy any different this time around? So nice to have babies so close. I have older kids two are 12 mos apart. Loved it.

  I agree with pp. they're so different. Netjx definitely has better movies but I think Hulu plus has much better current shows and a library of lots of past shows like I Love Lucy whih I am watching for the millionth time. :] can you do both? Try Hulu plus for a bit and see if you like it?

  Following this thread. We are currently thinking about ditching cable and going the Netflix/hulu route.

  I'm feeling pretty good. I've had a bit more nausea with this pregnancy. Which isn't saying much because I had almost zero with the first one. I love that they are going to be 18 months appart. To me that's about the perfect spacing.

  We only have had Netflix streaming and Hulu plus for a few years now. I like using Hulu plus for watching current shows. Example: I watch SVU, Once Upon a Time, Revolutuon, New Girl. The new episodes are available maybe a day or two after they air. The downside is there are few to no CBS shows so I can't watch CSI, nor are there many current running cable network shows [TNT, USA, AMC, etc]. I just suck it up and wait for shows to come on DVD so they can steam in Netflix. I do this for shows like Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. Netflix is also good for catching up on older shows or for watching movies, though keep in mind that not all popular movies are streamed right away. If DH or I want to watch a new release, we rent from Vulu which many smart tvs have an app for or if you use something like Roku there is an app you can install for it. Vulu is like renting from a movie store but it is streamed to your tv, and kinda like the on demand concept where you can watch it as much as you want within 24 hours.
