Hi ladies!
This was the board I have so desperately wanted to join since December and now it looks like I can! You'd think I'd be happy, but instead I am terrified of another loss, and it somehow feels like I will make it happen by making my BFP official. Crazy, I know. I had a super faint line 9dpo (and thought I was imagining it) and had a pos digital test yesterday.
About me.... DH and I have been together for 14 years and married for 7. We have a 6 year old son, and finally decided to TFAS early last year. We found out we were expecting in Sept, saw the heartbeat early on, but then sadly discovered it was a missed miscarriage at our 12 week appointment. The baby had been lost since 8 weeks. I have Endometriosis and highly irregular cycles, and DH travels a lot for work, so getting pregnant again was a bit of a challenge. I am so thankful for the TTCAL board, because they helped make the last 7 months a little less hard. I honestly thought this cycle was a bust since my cervix was low and firm.
i know we all worry, and there really isn't anything to help with that, but if some of you have any tips to share I would truly appreciate it. How you deal with things, special care i should be pushing for. Things to eat/do, etc. I need to feel like I'm doing something! I will be a ball of nerves from now until 12 weeks. I am hoping I can convince the doctor to give me weekly betas to make sure I don't have another mmc. I don't usually get pregnancy symptoms, so it isn't obvious when they go away.

Hi :-) I joined the board today too (my intro is a few posts down). I know exactly how you are feeling -- a mix of fear and joy and nerves and like it's not actually real. Except it is real, and every time I remind myself of that I get a huge smile on my face.
We should have really similar due dates -- wanna be PGAL EDD buddies? :-)

Speaking from my sons PgAL pregnancy, all you can do is take it one day at a time and repeat the PgAL mantra: "Today I am pregnant, and I love my baby"

Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!
