DS has always been a great sleeper and has been STTN since 3.5 months old. For some reason over the past week or so DS has woken up on 3 different nights right around 1:30am screaming bloody murder. The only way he will go back to sleep is if he's lying on me or right next to me. Every time I try to put him back down in his crib he screams, cries and is just hysterical. If I bring him in bed with us he will go to sleep no problem but I really don't want him to get used to sleeping in our bed. His top gums are swollen and the left side feels hard so maybe it's teething? We are also dealing with separation anxiety as well. Anyone else's LO experience this? I just find it weird that all three nights he woke at almost the exact same time.

Re: Waking in the MOTN
My DD had the same issue. Around 10 months she began waking in the middle of the night when she had always been a great sleeper. It only lasted a little while though and then she went back to STTN. She's actaully started doing it again at 18 months.
This isn't the answer for everyone, but I began to find that if I went into DD's bedroom to soothe her, it just made everything worse. If I allow her to cry for 10 minutes, most of the time she will go back to sleep on her own. Its hard to let her cry but it is better than both of us being up for 2 hours as I try to get her to go back to sleep in her crib or me getting zero sleep because she's using be as a body pillow.
