Bed rest?

I'm just curious how early some ladies were put on bed rest.
I'm currently 13w6d and have been bleeding since Wednesday. Doc said to rest and relax however I work in childcare. It's hard to rest and relax with 5 toddlers.
I worked yesterday and came home a mess, the bleeding was worse, my blood pressure was up. Needless to say I called in today but am scheduled two more 9 hour shifts.
I don't want to be on bed rest but I feel like that's were I'm headed.
Any advice or suggestions?

    Did you call your doctor after things became worse? What did they suggest?

    No idea why I am bleeding. Not sure what sch stands for?

    The doc is out of the office. Before he left he said to go to er if the bleeding went through a pad in an hour but that's it.

    I did call the office yesterday. They said go to er but I'm don't see why when the bleeding subsides.

    I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa at 18weeks. I was told bleeding was common with it, and I have had two episodes, both times I went to the hospital. The first time my doc sent me right to labor and delivery. I was put on bed rest after that, and told that if I had anymore bleeding to go straight to the hospital.

    If you are still bleeding then I would go in. They will probably do an u/s which can give an answer for the bleeding.

    Same thing happened to me. I was spotting at 13w, went to the hospital and was told I have complete previa. Was put on bed rest since then, working from home, not driving, only getting out of the house to go to the dr, staying off my feet pretty much the whole day. Almost 26w and still on bed rest

    I hadacomplete placenta previa.  I bled many times throughout my pregnancy but was not on bed rest until 33 weeks.

    IVF #1: Sept 2011: Beta 10/10- BFP!! 1st u/s 10/31/11 1 blighted ovum, 1 embryo 2nd u/s 11/14/11 stopped growing, no h/b D/C 11/17/11

    IVF #2: FET 5/4/12 : Beta 5/16/12 BFN

    IVF #3: ET 7/6/12 : 7/18 Beta #1 BFP at 246, 7/20 Beta #2 at 713, 7/27 Beta #3 at 9068. 1st u/s 8/7 with one lovely hb.
