new to this board:)excited to get to know all of you and get advice on stuff:)

anywhooooo, my little boy has a congested nose:((and its so sad.he has mucus down sounds like in his throat and he chokes on it and coughs alot:(((any advice on how to help him?i feel horrible watching him like this:(

    Welcome. Try using saline and a suction. Also sleep with a humidifier. Those help us.

    I had this, still have this issue and I'm a FTM so I was paranoid and took him to the doctor, and the doctor explained to me that it is very common in infants ecspecially younger babies. She suggested saline and suction. raising the head of his bed, and turn your shower on hot and let your bathroom steam up and stand in there. We had some real scares to the point that he had a hard time catching his breath and his face would get really red and then he would start coughing a ton. Babies can't spit like we can of course, so it just drains to the back of their throat and then they gag. Good luck, hope your LO can get some relief.
