Diaper Help, repost from April

So my giant baby has been in pampers swaddlers size 4 for a while now but seems to be having way too many blow outs and the legs are getting snug. So time to go up a size. Welllllllll the swaddlers don't come in size 5 so now I'm freakin' out! Do I switch to Cruisers in a size 5? Is there a size 5 out there that still have a wetness indicator? STMs recommend your diapers, stat!

  • I would just switch. You really don't need the wetness indicator. It isn't necessary to change them every single time they pee. I change before every feeding and when he poops. That is more than enough.

  • Target offers swaddlers in size 4 and 5 if you're wanting to stay with the same diapers.
  • I  love Pampers  and was so sad when my son outgrew  Swaddlers.  We switched to Baby  Dry instead of  Cruisers  because they are cheaper and in my opinion work better. HTH!

I would try the cruisers if you want to stay with pampers. I used the baby dry for 2 months with DD and they always got full so freaking fast! The same thing happened with huggies. I now use The Honest Company diapers and targets up and up brand. They both hold so much more!

This. Try looking at Target for the 5s. Otherwise, maybe a small pack of Pampers Cruisers to try it out. If you don't like it, I have heard that some stores will let you return the diapers.

  • I agree with PP Target does carry size 5 swaddlers. If you can't find the 5s, I'd go with the cruisers before I'd go with baby dry (or the other type of Pampers.) We had blow outs on more than one occasion with those and they were not pretty!!! Also, we've tried Target's brand of diapers. They are good too.
