Dr appt today

Before I get flamed, I want to put I know this doesn't mean anything in particular, I just got a little excited. Went to the dr today for my strep B swab and he checked me. He said I am 2 cm dialated and 1 station. He said he actually felt her head when he checked me. I found this so exciting. I am a nurse so like I said, I know this does not mean I will go into labor anytime soon or even before my due date, but it did get me excited to be making progress!! He said because of this I couldn't road trip this weekend about 3 hours away for a wedding. Can't believe in a few weeks most all of us will have our little ones here!!! Yay!

I also know it means nothing. I am 1 cm at 35 weeks, and it makes me very excited! It shows I am getting close and making progress!

I will be 37 weeks on Sat, and I was not expecting him to say I was dialated at all. I have been giddy all day, followed by a trip to babies r us just because.

I have my Group B Strep test on Tuesday, and am hoping for good results and maybe even some progress as well! It's nice to know our bodies are prepping for the big day!

Yes can't believe all of us are getting so close. It became real today when we scheduled my c section for next thur bc of a past surgery. *** just got real lol.

I get my first check at my 37 week appt next week. I'm super excited to see if anything has happened...

With DS I had NO PROGRESS even 8 hours before my water broke when I was overdue. It sucked.

I am with you. I wasn't dilated at all but baby had dropped and I was 80% effaced. It was so exciting to think, "Oh my, it's almost here" and then have a slight panic of "Oh my, it IS almost here" Congrats on the progress.

I'm declining checks, but I don't blame you either! I wasn't dilated at all when I started my induction with DS and it took me forever to start dilating. Part of the reason I'm declining is that I don't want to be hear that I'm not dilated at all because of my past experience! Exciting for you!
