Hello ladies!
I think today is the big day for CNYBride05! Sending you thoughts and prayers!
Congratulations again to MrsCaseyK!
Any updates on Nantucket?
How was your night? Anything exciting today? Milestones?
QOTD: How are you handling this heat wave?
Re: ~Thursday bed rest check in~
Good morning!
We won't talk about my sleep last night. h a
Had an OB appt this morning. I packed a hospital bag, thankfully. I got to come home and unpack! I start NSTs 2x/week next week. Tomorrow I have an u/s and a NST. I'm assuming everything will be fine.
If it weren't for the news/husband/facebook I would have no idea it's hot outside. I haven't really been out aside from today and that was at 7am for the appointment. I have the ac cranked up so i can snuggle under all my blankets on y bed. haha
My doctor told me if I make it to 36 weeks, she'll take my restrictions away....eep!
I actually slept last night :
Today had an appt. My belly is measuring 24wks which the dr is pleased with. I am currently filling out my disability papers hubby will drop them off at my job then tomorrow I will take them to my dr. Any little thing will help. Next week I have another cervical ck praying my cervix is still holding strong at 2.8cm...
QOTD: Today is the first day I went out since put on bed rest last week. This heat is crazy my hubby wasn't kidding. I don't really feel the heat at home because my ac stays on full blast..
I recommend the pregnancy binder. It helped me so much today. After laying in bed all day for 7days straight getting up for a long period of time feels weird. The binder lifted my belly up and took off the pressure.
Thinking of CNY and Nantucket!
Best of luck to everyone with their appointments, I'll be thinking of each of you and love to read updates.
Slept good, actually. Just med and bathroom wake up calls.
I live in the Seattle area so we don't have the horrible summers. While it has been warm, for here, the air conditioner in our bedroom keeps at least that room cool enough to sleep. I'm also addicted to otter pops so crunch those, downstairs in the evenings with the fans blowing, since the real heat hits later in the day.
Happy day, everyone!
I have an appt today and plan to talk with my doctor about delivery options VBAC vs c/s.
Qotd: since I only go outside for appts it hasn't been bad. Yesterday during my 20minutes up, I made a trip to the mailbox all 59 ft and enjoyed the sun for less than a minute.
Hello.
I slept fairly well.
I had my first appt with the endo for GD today. I started checking sugars 2 days ago, and only had one high sugar. That was last night after dinner, and it wasn't a very healthy meal, other than the broccoli so I figured it would be high.
I also had an appt with my ob, and an u/s. The previa moved a tiny bit, but not anywhere near being resolved. Baby is 2lbs 11oz, the doc said he is measuring a little small, which could be because they are using my last period as the due date (but I was having longer than average cycles), or that I have small babies. DD was 38 weeks at birth and was 5lbs 13oz.
I have a window ac unit that is as high as it will go, so my room stays fairly cool, and DD has a window unit in her room. The rest of the house gets pretty hot though. Showering is not great because it's so hot when I get out.
ETA: I forgot to mention, my ob said that if he had been in town last week when I had the second bleeding episode he would have made me stay in the hospital
. So if I have another episode, he will make me stay.
ilovetolaugh: I'm glad you were able to go back home! T &Ps that you make it to 36 weeks!
Wallace: Sending lots of prayers your way. So glad to read a good update!
Kneeah: Prayers for you @ your cervical check!
