  I had been TTC for a year & a half with a blighted ovum in November.  We were diagnosed as unexplained infertility.  I had my 1st medicated IUI in June & got a BFP.  I'm still being cautious as I'm only 5 & 1/2 weeks right now, but we did have success with our 1st.  Good luck!

  Each case is different when it comes to IUI, because each diagnosis has its challenges.  

  We got the BFP this month on our 3rd IUI....but our chances of IUI working was less than 10% due to our particular situation.  

  Married 4-26-2011  Me 31 DH 28  

  TTC since 12/2011  

  5/4/13-IUI #1=BFN,  6/3/13-IUI #2=BFN, 7/1/2013-IUI #3=BFP!!!

  My first one worked. But I was also the first cycle I did injectables as well.

  i conceived with 2 of my several iui but they both were early chemicals. this pregnancy was without meds (shocking)

  Married 11/27/09 and TTC right away
  Dx: Complete septate uterus with cervical duplication, endometrial polyps, PCOS, endometriosis, hypo thyroid, luteal phase defect
  4 uterus surgeries to correct my complete septum and to remove polyps and 2 years of seeing the RE, medicated cycles and IUIs
  Baby 1 and 2: BFP 3/3/11 with 2 babies EDD 11/1/11, M/C 4/6/11
  Baby #3: 8/11 pregnant EDD 4/27/11 and m/c:(
  Baby #4: 10/12/11 BFP! EDD 6/16/12m/c 10/26/11
  Baby #5: 3/13/12 BFP! EDD 11/25/12 ANOTHER m/c

  Baby #6: 2/14/13- BFP! EDD 10/24/13, CP 2/19/13
  Baby #7: 3/15/13- BFP! EDD 11/27/13, another CP
  Baby #8.  BFP 5/19/13 EDD 1/22/14. 8 was not our lucky number
  
  4th septum resection on 5/31/13.
  Baby #9: 6/29/13 BFP. C section scheduled for March 5th!

  My miracle baby was born March 5 at 9:33am. He was 8 lbs 12.5 oz and 21.25 inches long!

  I got pregnant on my first IUI (with clomid). I was surprised it worked since I had read it usually doesn't for people with unexplained infertility. My doctor said she was surprised it worked as well because most of the sperm came out of my uterus during the procedure.  I am now 12 weeks along.

  This was our fourth IUI (and would have been last before moving on to something else) - all medicated though we were unexplained. It can be really disappointing so just be prepared for that. It frequently takes more than one. Keep your chin up and hopefully it will happen for you too soon!
  

  TTC Since July 2011  34 years old Unexplained IF
  3 failed IUI's, 6/2013 - IUI #4 150mg clomid, BFP, 7 weeks heartbeat, M/C at 9 weeks

  IUI#5 (Oct) & 6 (Nov) 150mg clomid -BFN

  Last IUI on 12/7 and that's the end of the road...onto adoption if that is what is meant to be for us.

  2002- Diagnosed with PCOS at 18
  10/11-10/12 - tried to conceive naturally with Metformin, due to PCOS never had a cycle
  10/12-12/12 3 cycles of Clomid - fail
  6/13- 1st cycle on Clomid 50mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel- BFN
  7/13 2nd cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel 1st IUI - BFN
  8/13 3rd cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel 2nd IUI - BFN
  9/13 4th cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel - Benched with Cysts
  From 12/13 to current I have ovulated 4 times naturally
  Currently on break to get healthy.... 35 pounds down, 13 to go!
