I typed all of this out a few days ago, and then when I switched tabs to copy a link from TinyPic, my browser decided to reload and ERASED everything I had typed and I didn't have the patience that night to retype it all (especially since I had finger pecked the whole thing on my iPad)
So I've posted and done some responses and creep nightly on the board before I fall asleep, it's just taken me TOO LONG to introduce myself (my apologies for not following etiquette)...
I'm a 25 year old FTM. DH and I are both SUPER excited for this new adventure and while he thinks we're having a boy, I'm still up in the air as to what my "gut" feeling is! We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and before I had DH, I had my own fur daughter (Ellie, now 7 years old).
The beginning of our pregnancy started off quirky and ?unexpected?...
In March we started TTC knowing my LMP was Feb 28th... Weeks passed and I got a bunch of BFN's.... Weeks continued to pass and we eventually got to the point of DTD but were really waiting around for my next period to bless us with her presence so we could TTC again, but still, NOTHING came. May 1st was a day I was in the bathroom peeing like crazy and had to tell my students to "keep working and I'd be back." (My last negative test was Mid-Late April).... So May 2nd I decided to take one more test before going to the doctor for what I thought was a UTI and we got an unexpected BFP! (After all, my LMP was FEB!)....
Called my OBGYN and made an appointment with no knowledge of how far along I might be and they had me wait until the end of May. I finished out the school year telling my students to "excuse me" most mornings because my morning sickness had me dizzy and nauseous with hot flashes but never actually getting sick. Once school was out, I was thankful to have the time off to get sleep and rest on days I didn't feel well (which was DAILY!)....
I've had food aversions throughout my whole pregnancy so far, and haven't had the healthiest appetite. =/
May 28th came around and DH and I went to our appointment to find out that "Little" was 7w5d at that point with a strong 162 heartbeat. It was amazing to come home with 3 pictures and an memory of the first time we set eyes on our LO!
My mom and sister both knew of my aggravation over my lack of period, but then both got a "sense" and asked if I had "something to share"... I ended up lying to them saying "I wish I did" because that wasn't how I wanted to share the news with them! The weekend after our appointment we shared the news with our families by playing card games (see my siggy pic).... They went crazy! This is going to be the 2nd grandchild for my side and 1st for DH's side of the family.
I went back to the doctor for an appointment at 11w5d with out DH (because it was just supposed to be Doppler, and DH is deaf, so "listening" for the HB would be pointless for him)... Well they ended up doing a lower quality U/S (not sure why but was too elated to think straight and ask!), so I asked if I could video some of it on my phone to show DH since he wasn't there...
I don't really have a "bump" yet because I already had some extra love in my stomach area, but I'm typically a "proud of my healthy body" person anyways, so I haven't let it get me down too much yet...
I guess that's enough rambling from me for today, if you've read the whole thing, thanks! If not, I don't blame you!
I'm still learning all the abbreviations and proper ways of posting/asking questions... Sometimes I don't realize that when I ask a question (that I think only has one meaning - because I'm ignorant on all things pregnancy), it really has MANY possible meanings.... so thanks in advance with all your patience as I delve into this new journey with all of you!

thanks for posting the video. I had my u/s at 7wks and won't be getting another one until my 20wk mark so it was fun to live vicariously through you. hehe

Thanks! I prefer to have the least amount of drama possible! Looking forward to the rest of this "crazy journey" ;-)... I am loving that I have an "experience" so far lol... I think I'll have more memories this way than if I didn't have anything!
