Our Bed Rest Miracle Turns "3" Today!

I have a happy and healthy toddler today, but he gave me a run for my money just 18 mo. after his 25 weeker sister arrived. I went in for my 20 week ultrasound with him, and was found to be dilated 2 cm with my membranes bulging. Incompetent cervix and pre-term labor had struck, again! I had a rescue cerclage the next day, and two weeks of hospital bed rest. I was discharged home on bed rest and given Progesterone shots weekly. I delivered DS at 35w6d. He came home with me after 5 days in the Special Care Nursery; no NICU time! What a journey having these preemies have been, but totally worth it. Here is Ben at HersheyPark last month. What a doll.
