Mo/Mo Girls!

Yesterday was a good day---I had another u/s and found out we are having girls Smile  I would have been happy either way, but knowing is so much fun!

They are both measuring right on track with hbs of 165 and 167!

Still no membrane Tongue Tied but he said we will keep checking. He doesn't think it is there though, and left us literally crossing his fingers and saying "you all need some luck on your side." Gee Thanks! 

But overall, a great day...we go back in 2 weeks and just taking this one day at a time!

    Congratulations on your little girls!

    D & L are here at 34 weeks 4 days by vaginal and breech delivery on 11/19/2013
    Two healthy boys weighing 4 lbs 15 ozs and 4 lbs 5 ozs.  Only 6 days in the NICU and getting bigger, stronger and cuter every day!

    Congrats! I very rarely post over here but I wanted to say good luck! I am also pregnant with Mo/Mo girls. I'm 25 w 3 d and go inpatient Sunday. I've had a relatively easy pregnancy so far and am excited (and incredibly nervous) to be in the hospital where they can take them if there's danger. Let me know if you have any questions. The hospital I'll be at just had another Mo/Mo mom inpatient and she delivered at 31 weeks.

    Even in identical twins that are in 1 sac, there is usually a thin membrane that runs between the babies. It acts as a little barrier, so their cords won't tangle up. In some rare cases, there is no membrane, so there is the fear that they could get tangled and cut off each others blood/nutrient supply. They are just watched very closely. There is not alot else you can do.

    Congrats on your twin girls! I too am having momo girls and currently I'm the hospital for monitoring. I'm 27 wks and 4 days. So far I've had contractions but they're doing well. Good luck!
