Our girls are almost 9 months. One is crawling all over the place and is thisclose to walking while the other isn't really interested in crawling yet. Right now, MH and I are able to ride together to work, so we can do drop-off & pick-up for DC together. They are both still under the weight limit for the carriers, so we can do it alone if we have to.
However, they are getting close to the 22lb weight limit and while one may be walking by the time she exceeds that limit, I'm not really sure how stable she's going to be. So how do you do it when you have to get both to and from the car (like at DC) when they're out of the carriers but not walking. Picking up one out of the seat is simple enough, but then what??

You're my hero!!
I have this dilemma fast approaching, too. I was thinking of putting one in the Ergo, though that sounds like a pain. I'd really like to avoid buying a single stroller when we already have a double stroller, but then if I use the double stroller it's so big and bulky to be leaving at daycare. Ugh. I figure I'll try out a couple of different ways and see what sticks.
We live in a second floor condo, which is why I never considered a stroller (and I never really wore them). Once they're more mobile you can put one on the floor behind the passenger/driver seat. I started doing that about a month ago and wish I had done it sooner. They love climbing around and popping up in middle. We play peekaboo while I strap one in, then I go around to the other side and grab the other one. I would guess you could do this when they get good at crawling. The only downside is you have to keep your car very clean.
