2 Year Molars

Talk to me, ladies.

Who's dealing with them? What kinda symptoms are we talking about? How long does it last?

Basically, how scared do I need to be of these little buggers?

Re: 2 Year Molars

  • In the thick of it.

    Lots of drool.

    Weird gross poops.

Lots of biitchyness. On both parts.

    Not eating much.

Started in May. It's July now and no sign of them poking through. Efffff!!!!

  • I think we are going through them too :-( Some days are better than others. I have noticed some of the signs shandao has listed.

  • Good grief it's terrible and taking FOR.EV.ER!!! The two bottom ones are out and I have a suspicion he's working on the top now.

    Super Cranky

    Low Fever

What I like to call "Teething Poops"

    Chewing on Everything

Being Picky about food (wanting mostly cold/crunchy things)

    Way more tantrums than usual.

It's been a rough few days with DH traveling and trying to keep up with my little wreck of a boy. My sympathies for those of you going through this too.

  • I should add that teething has always been bad for us and some kids don't have any issues at all!

  • Thanks for the insight, ladies. I think we've been dealing with it this past week, too. E has been cranky, not sleeping well, and not eating much. Yesterday, I noticed him putting quite a few things in his mouth, which he never does, and chewing on his hands some. I'll have to keep an eye out for a fever or strange poops, but this sounds like a pretty solid explanation. Hopefully they won't take their sweet time coming in!

  • We have one that has popped up and it has been OK--- could definitely be worse... I can tell when it's bothering her bc she gets whiny and attached to me.  Tylenol seems to help her.

  • Lots of drool and in the beginning she had a fever and even threw up a few times. not sure if that was from the teeth, from being so upset because the pain was making her cry, or because I had just tried to give her medicine and she was crying/ upset
You will never know how much you mean to me my little jelly Bean.
