Okay, be warned that this is one of those probably dumb questions but I am a FTM so bear with me:
DS is outgrowing his infant seat so we need to transition to a convertible car seat soon. What do you do with LO while shopping? Do they sit okay in the seat of the cart at this age? He just seems kind of small for that, although he does sit unsupported. I'm not huge into baby wearing so curious what people are doing?

If you do buy a cart cover, try to park next to the cart corral and put it on the cart before taking LO out of the vehicle.

If he can sit unsupported, he can definitely sit in a cart and in a high chair at a restaurant. As long as he can do these two things, you are OK without the bucket.
We have this one too. About half the time, LO falls asleep with her head on the pillow. It's very sweet.
