Picky lo

I am running out of food ideas on what else to try to get dd to eat. These are our normal foods, but she is getting tired of the same things.

Breakfast: oatmeal with fruit, pancakes, or waffles, or cream of wheat. Won't eat eggs

Lunch: sandwich turkey, grilled cheese,or ham she will not eat pb and j

dinner: I offer what we are eating but she usually takes a couple of bites and then she doesn't want any more.

Snacks: puffs, yogurt melts, graham crackers, gold fish, fruit, Greek yogurt

What foods do your lo's like?

Re: Picky lo

  • How about some rice or beans? There's also cottage cheese or regular cheese. DD gets Nutrigrain bars at daycare also.

  • E loves quesadilla. I usually put black beans, cheese, and slices of green pepper and olives in.

He also really likes hummus so I put it on vegetables or toast strips.

For lunch we have pasta often too. He loves it with ground turkey and sauce.

  • I'd keep trying pb.  Trying for one day does not mean LO will not eat it. It is a new flavor to adjust to. Try it on toast, try it on crackers. Dip the goldfish.

My LO will eat pretty much anything I give him.

DD preferred scrambled eggs over omelettes, LO eats both.  You could try French toast for a change.

Fresh fruit...pears, bananas, watermelon, avocado, applesauce.

Try noodles or other pasta. LO loves to chase noodles around his tray.

    Good luck.
