I am wearing pre-pg clothes today. Granted they were my "fat" clothes, but still. They didn't fit me a few weeks ago and now they do (and comfortably so may I add), so BOO-YA!
Baby Boy's sleeping seems to be improving some. His naps are all over the place, but at least he does nap. And not just in our arms or in the car/stroller either (I'D say he sleeps on his own for maybe 1/3 of his naps). And we haven't had a nap shorter than 30 minutes in a few days. And if that weren't enough, Baby Boy has been easier to put down after his early morning feeding - as in I have been able to put him back in his Moses basket rather than having to bring him in bed with us.
I know they're all small steps, but at least they are steps in the right direction, and that has me doing a happy dance!
Anyone else want to share their small (or big) victories?
Re: Small victories
My small victory... I got out of bed?
It feels like someone sucker punched me in the vagina. My hips are killing me, and this kid is so low I swear she will fall out of my butt. I am sleep deprived, and have giant bags under my eyes.
I wish they would just induce me. Prodromal labor sucks.
I successfully get both babies to sleep simultaneously for at least an hour each day. It's not a ton of time, but enough to grab a shower and throw in a load of laundry!
Small victories are the bane of my existence right now.
My small victory:
Yesterday morning Sophia was playing with her Mickey Mouse puzzle and of course pieces were everywhere. She wanted to go outside and I managed to get her to help me put all the pieces back. I felt like dancin!
I took a shower today AND shaved my legs!!
Yay for you! And Baby boy :-)
My small victory got DH to stop being upset w/me for something lame and got lucky ;-) oh and got him to discuss his feelings.
