DC ob/gyn recommendations

Hi all,

Relocating to DC this week and just found out I'm 8 weeks pregnant.  So I'm in need of a good DC ob/gyn quickly!   Living within the District so preferably something there.  Any recommendations?

    If you call the MFA midwives at GW now, maybe you can get in. They're the most popular practice in the area because they get results - c-section rate of 3%. But they really focus on natural birth, so if that's not your cup of tea, then go for the OB group practice at GW. They still get good results but will be more flexible with pain management options.

    Dr. Schicor and Bajaj are great at capital women's care.

    I second Dr. Schichor but I LOVED Dr. Semel at the same practice. I'm moving to Chicago and wish I could take her with me!

    Love my OB. Dr. Lashgari, now Dr Prather, Her partners are Dr. Elliott and Dr. Borelli. Both Lashgari and Elliott have been named best OB in the DC area. They are out of Northern Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. I highly recommend their practice!
