My daughter has been potty trained since about 23 months. She did excellent with it from the get go and never really had accidents. Now all of a sudden, she's pooping and peeing in her pants again, errrr! She's 27 months. There haven't been any life changing events. She stays home with me full-time.This all started when we were on vacation 2 weeks ago. We were in the water a lot, and I'm wondering if she got by with peeing in the water without us noticing and now she's just doing the same thing?? We're also expecting a baby in October, but out pediatrician doesn't think that would explain it since we have several months to go.
Looking for thoughts on a.) why she's doing this?
And more importantly b.) how to fix this! I'm at the end of my rope. I want my potty trained little girl back.
Re: Toddler regressing with potty training. Help!!!
Since you went to the pedi, did they test for bladder infection?
My guess is that she's so busy doing her thing that she doesn't think about telling you she needs to go until she goes. Ask/remind her frequently and if it's been a while, make her stop what she's doing and go.
