Today my doctor said I was tachy and to be on the safe side, I have to get my thyroid checked again. I may also have to be admitted in the hospital to keep a monitor on myself and the baby. This happened with my third baby but all turned out to be okay. It just comes and go.
My glucose test was not passing so I have to go on a three day diet so that I can do a three hour test.
Things like this can be so discouraging. I'm just so sad right now,
Re: Tachy?
I experienced it with my last pregnancy, but it was a side effect to Procardia that my OB had prescribed to stop my preterm labor symptoms.
It was crazy and scary; the dr told me if my heart rate got really high (I can't really remember the number, maybe 140?) to go to the ER. It never got close to that although at times I thought my heart was going to explode.
I checked it with an at-home automatic blood pressure monitor. Hopefully yours is resolved quickly!!
