For those that use TT overnight...do you use just the regular OS or the Night time TT? At each the stockings there is usually only 1 night time available so I figure I have a much better chance of getting the regular OS.
If you plan on using a cover over it, the regular TT will be fine for overnight. Some mommas have had luck going coverless with the TTNN for overnight.
From 6-12 months DD was a crazy ON peeing machine, despite having only one MOTN feeding at 4 am. During that time it was a TTNN, a JoeyBunz premium hemp and a wool cover. Most of the time the diaper and hemp were completely saturated by morning.
Now I just use the diaper with a Thirsties cover and it provides more than enough absorbency. A regular TT would be fine for her.
So, it really depends on how heavy a wetter you have.
I have used regular TT OS overnight when DD wasn't a crazy heavy wetter, and it worked just fine. However, once she hit 5 or 6 months old (and still kind of til now) she's been a pretty heavy ON wetter so we use TTNN.
