Officially Hot, Uncomfortable, and Crabby

I guess I'm at the point everyone kept telling me about where you're just uncomfortable and everything makes you want to punch something.

It's supposed to be 91 degrees for the next three days with about 8000% humidity. It's already been two days of this weather and I am so miserable.  We don't have AC, just a portable unit for the bedroom at night, and even that is annoying because it's so humid that the water has to be drained from it every 2-3 hours, so goodbye uninterrupted sleep.

I also need to do laundry but it's just too damn hot so I'm wearing my same stinky sweaty clothes over again.

No real point to this, just grumpy and venting.  Can't wait until this weekend when the weather is going back into the 70's.

  • I feel for you... we don't deal with humidity here, it is a hair dryer on max normally...so I opt to take a cool shower, it helps for a little while...I hope the heat wave breaks for you, it has been great to pregnant in July where I am at...at least at the moment August is the hottest month for us normally

  • On the radio this morning the DJ said that 43 states will be experience higher than normal temperatures for the rest of the week. With the heat index it will be 106 here today, 97 is the actual temp. It's nasty out there!

  • It's been hot here too, and its ridiculous. Just standing outside to keep an eye on my toddler playing is miserable.

  • I have no AC only 3 crappy fans that hardly do any good... I also need to do laundry like something bad and just don't have to motivation to even start that or start my dishwasher since it lets out really hot steam and makes my place feel like a sauna! I think it's time to buy paper plates.
  • Ugh, the dang heat. Won't let me sleep. I can't handle it anymore!

  • Yeah, I am feeling this way too...I live in AZ...our idea of a cool down is 100 right now...I am training a large group of people next week...standing for 8 hours straight should be lots of fun!
