Good day, ladies!
Congratulations to Nantucket for reaching the ultimate milestone!
Congratulations again to Aiche!
We're looking forward to updates from you ladies! You're such an inspiration!
How was your night? Anything on tap for today?
QOTD: Who's been your biggest supporter during your bed rest journey?
*disclaimer, sorry if any of these QOTD are repeats. I can't remember what Aiche has already asked* :-)
Re: ~Wednesday bed rest check in~
Good morning!
I actually slept alright last night! Our son came in our room around 2am but fell right back asleep, so that was no big deal. Thank goodness we have a King sized bed!
Today I did all I have to do already, ha! I have my husband bring DS's clothes and diaper in our room and I get him dressed for daycare. Fed the kid a little fruit, feeling like a better mom after doing that in the morning, that's for sure!
QOTD: My husband, he's taken up so much slack, I feel terrible for him, but there is nothing I can do. My parents are also huge supporters, always asking if they can take DS so that my DH can get things done or have a break. My Sister and her husband have also been awesome helping with DS when we need it!
Last night once again I didn't fall asleep till 3am to only be up at 5:30 when hubby leaves to work. I tried to go back to sleep but was interrupted by te cries of my little 3 pound pup being attacked by my 13 pound cat. I was so upset I walked out the room and yelled at my cat for being a bully. My pup is now in be with me.
Last night I called the on call dr because I was getting tightness in my lower ab once again and was ready to run to LD which I was last week for the same reason but the dr told me unless I am getting it 4 times in the hr I am safe to wait and see dr on Thursday. After I hung up with him I drank alot of water. Got it one more time and that was it. Thank god.
Happy moment for me today is I am 22wks today yippie. Only 2 more weeks till my Vday.
QOTD: My boyfriend is my biggest support system. He takes care of my every needs. He doesn't complain about working all day then to come home and clean and feed me
Went in to ditch the stitch on Monday at 36 and 2 and labor started 13 hours later at 12.30 AM on Tuesday and we delivered vaginally with no drugs. Holy Hannah, that was INTENSE! At 3.34 and 3.50 AM. Everly Clare and her brother were born at 5 lbs 4 oz and 5 lbs 10 oz!! SOO thankful for a safe and wonderfully birth and children!! Over the moon!! Now to come up with a name for the big boy! I'm thinking it'll be within the next 18 to 24 hours!! We had two boys names picked out and thought we were having boys...now we have to pick between the two!
Blessings to you all and I'll keep in touch and at least get a pic up when I get to a real computer...:D
My DH. Couldn't have done any of this without him!!
So excited for you..Congrats!!!
Had another roughly sleepless night but oh well. Only two days left now!
QOTD: my hubby for sure. I cannot sing his praises enough! We've had tons of help from friends, but he still does most of everything all by himself from taking care of our DD to the housework and being there for me when I need to talk/whine/cry, not to mention doing it all while working 40 to 60 hrs a week.
Today my hubby is grilling hamburgers. That is pretty much all that is happening.
My biggest support is my hubby. He does everything for me. Even if I have to wake him up or have him put something on hold to get me things. He is super helpful. He also seems happy to do everything too. He hasn't complained at all about it. We will see if that keeps up for the next 8 weeks. Lol
Morning!
Congrats Nantucket!
My night was ok. Nothing going on today, my BIL and niece might be coming over, but otherwise nothing.
I just started checking blood sugars, um ouch, and it's a pain to get the right spot. I guess I'll figure it out eventually. My fasting this morning was 96, one hour after breakfast was 119.
I think my mom would be the biggest. DH tries really hard, but I don't know if he really understands the emotions I'm dealing with. He also works overnights, so the nights he works, it's really hard to get him to get things done, or make meals. Today he got home around 8:30, but just went to bed at 10:30, so that means I will have to enlist the help of DD for lunch time, I do have snacks and water in a fridge in my room though so that will help.
Congrats on 22 weeks!
Congratulations!! I love your girl name, can't wait for pics and what baby boy's name is!
Glad to hear you got some more sleep!
Great news about the girls!!
I had the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. I didn't get to bed until 2am but with the exception of getting up for about 45 min around 8, I slept until 11:30!!!
Qotd: DH and DD. DH of course is taking care of so much and I'm amazed at how my 5yr old is helping out and is so positive through the mBR.
Congrats on reaching that milestone! Keeping my fx for your partner to pass the GD test, and good news from your upcoming appts!
Congrats! So exciting!
Congratulations, Wallace!! 28 weeks is awesome!
Wow!!! Congratulations MrsCasey on your beautiful babies!
Best of luck and thinking of you Nantucket!
Congratulations to anyone else achieving milestones, that I might have missed. And congrats, again, to Aiche!
Met with my new specialist today, same one that had originally called for the emergency cerclage. Cervix is holding steady at 1.3 cm and stitch is still doing it's job. Also, my amnio fluids went from 9 to 13!!! Yay for pounding more fluids. Also was a baby measurement day and baby is measuring all in normal range, with weight at just under 2lbs. Hit 25 weeks yesterday and Dr. Said that is well within normal. Also found out today that I passed the 1 hour GD test, which is a relief. Dr. said keep doing what I'm doing and keep with the modified bed rest. Nice to have a good appt after such a horrible day yesterday.
My husband would be my number one. He has been the best, working and having to pick up the slack for me as well as pushing me to drink more and forcing me to take it easy and rest.
Good luck.. Keep us posted
Wow! Congrats to everyone on milestones, births, and good news appts
This is my real so-long-farewell - I'm scheduled for induction tomorrow morning. I'll try to check in periodically to say hi and see how everyone is doing.
QOTD: My husband, totally! He's amazing!

Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)
Bed rest is so boring. And I am 27 wks5days today and have been on it due to high bp since 24wks3days. When I went to MFM Monday my cervix was fine until they applied pressure and then it went down to what they consider right below their cutoff of I think 2.5 so he said to continue the bed rest bc with pressure he sees shortening of the cervix. I go back on Monday for another cervix check. Its so hard to lay down all day. My baby shower is Saturday and I have tons of family coming in and I feel like there is so much to be done. And I end up getting up to pee and then doing stuff around the house and then realizing I need to go lay down. Its really hard to get used to bed rest. I am having my mom drive me tomorrow to go find a dress for the shower. I am going to lay down the whole way and come straight home. Are any of yall having very swollen fingers when you wake up?
Qotd: Definitely my husband I feel bad bc he has so much on his plate.
