  As we live in the middle of a bunch of cherry orchards, LO has been given cherries before. We didn't mash them or anything just bit it in half & held on while he sucked/knawed on it. Did the same thing with watermelon over the weekend and he actually yelled at us when we tried to take the rind away from him.

  We aren't doing BLW either although I am starting to give LO more pieces

  I did try them around the 4th, but he wasn't a huge fan (maybe he thought they were tart)? I'm sure we'll revisit at some point.

  We haven't done cherries, but we have done blueberries.  I think they are a little tart for her, like cherries would be though, so I usually mix in some oatmeal or something to tone them down a bit.

  Lil man loved cherries I mixed them with applesauce so it wasn't quite so messy. And he devorered them.

  I haven't yet, just because my local whole foods store hasn't had any organic ones in for awhile. I love cherries though, so I'm excited to try them with Jack!
