I had my six week check up, doc says everything looks good, but I am still sore. It hurts to sit and walk. Doc says it will clear up soon. Any one else still in pain? Or when did you start to feel normal ?
I just got home from my 6 week visit! I wouldn't say I'm in pain, but discomfort is more accurate. Not all the time. Sometimes my pelvic bones feel similar to late pregnancy, like there's pressure on them. I also feel a pulling sensation in my lower ab muscles when lifting LO in her carrier. It actually takes a full year for your body to recover from pregnancy and delivery, so I've gotta believe it will improve.
Jayro and I are always good for these posts...unfortunately! I Amin the discomfort boat, too. I do have a small amount of pain when I roll forward from sitting to standing, and my lady bits that are supposed to be sensitive are waaaay too sensitive (I tore up instead of down). I also have the pressure feeling whenever I walk while carrying a load, and haven't tried running yet. I agree with pp on giving time to heal. My doc said give it 6 months, not 6 weeks. It is annoying though, especially when you feel like your are the only one. GL.

Soreness here too, especially after lots of walking, though the doctor gave me the all clear at 7 weeks. I want to train for a 5K this fall but I cannot imagine trying to jog right now.
I still have pain around my pubic bone and in the muscles just above it in my lower abs, and in my groin muscles like late in my pregnancy. I think my ligaments are still really loose. My midwife said it's normal. I still have some twinges around my tear too, even though it was so small I didn't need stitches.
