Cloth Diapering

PIP / AW Meet YellowLily and Mr. Caleb

Hi Ladies! I'm finally introducing myself PIP style.

This is me about 36 weeks pregnant.

This is my nursery!! I'm very proud of how it turned out. I made everything crib sheet, crib skirt, curtains, valance, changing pad cover, and boppy cover! Whew. I've also made a wetbag, cloth wipes, and hemp doublers.

Since the room is pretty small, DH and I custom designed the closet so we could maximize our storage. I love it! It looks like a ton of clothes, but thats all we have clothes wise and it goes up to  12 month size clothes.

 --------------------------------------------------------------------

So, Mr. Caleb was born 2 weeks early because I was diagnosed with Cholestasis of pregnancy. Essentially my liver wasn't functioning properly and could cause fetal distress or ultimately still birth.

The same day we got the test results back we were ordered to go to the hospital. It was quite a different birth plan and I had imagined (I had planned to go naturally at a free standing birth center).

Here's Mr. Caleb!

  • Congrats, your LO is very cute. I did have a similar experience with my LO. The reason was the his water level was very low,so after they done with the ultrasound, they didn't let me go,until they call my doctor and depended of what my doctor said,I could go home, but the doctor orders was to send my to the hospital right away.

best wishes and a fast recovery.

  • You were looking super cute at 36 weeks pregnant! And Caleb's nursery looks amazing. And he is just the sweetest little thing! We have the same hat for M in black - my mom made it. He came home in it with his little tuxedo onesie, black pants and tuxedo socks :). Baby boys rock!

i hope everything is going well at home
