I slept about 4 hours then slept another 3 this morning. This seems to be my new trend and I'm not liking it. Swelling is worse :-(
Today is our weekly appointment with MFM.
QOTD is hard for me because I rely so heavily on electronic devices for entertainment. I would probably go nuts without lip balm and lotion. Even though I drink more water than ever, everything stays so dry. Especially in the hospital!
My night was ok. The dogs were running in and out of the house. It made sleeping for very long quite difficult. My SIL came and got them today to run them around at the dog park. Hopefully they will come back and take a nap with me.
My MIL made her homemade Mac and cheese and is bringing it over for dinner. I'm so happy. I love it so much!
My most essential item other than my phone is my cross stitch pattern. I have been working on it for the nursery. It is a great way to pass the time, an I am actually accomplishing something other than knocking out multiple seasons of 30 rock.
I got the call today that I failed the 3 hour GD test. They didn't tell me the numbers, but my mom works for my primary so she got them for me. Fasting was 69, 1 hr (which was actually taken 10 minutes late) was 161, 2 hr (50 mins, not an hour) was 173, and the 3 hr was 153 (that one was an hour after the 2 hour). They aren't horrible, and I'm wondering how much of an effect (if any) the times being off may have had. So now I have to test my sugars, and have an appt with an endocrinologist on Thurs.
I also have an appt with my ob Thurs. I'm going to have to find something to do that I can just be sitting in between the endo appt is at 10:30 and the doc is at 2, but coming home would mean me going up and down the stairs 4 times in one day. Not something I want to do, considering I'm trying not to have another bleeding episode.
QOTD: Hmm, I guess maybe magazines. real books, puzzle books, anything to give me a break from electronics.

I wish I had something to cross stitch right now! I might check out ebay just to give me something else to do.
This bedrest sleep schedul blows. I sleep for 2-3 hours at a time, day and night. During the day I try to get up and shower/take a bath and "get ready" (lotion, maybe some mascara, file my nails. ha) I open the blinds, make my bed...try to make a difference between day and night. Kind of hard when I can't be out of bed too long. Anyways, I take sleep when I can get it. I just don't like to be so sleepy when my husband and 2 year old are home at night.
Aside from electronics, I'd say thank you cards. I've been writing them like crazy over the past week.
Sleep? What is that? LOL. I get about 45 minutes to an hour at a time. I actually got 2 hours this morning and thought I was in heaven!
Contractions seem to be picking up a bit. I am giving it one more day before calling dr as I am still in the safe zone. My next apt is Friday for growth scan and game plan. I will be 34.1 then. As far as I know meds and SBR will continue to week 35 then I have no idea what the game plan is.
My non electronic saving grace had been visitors. Pretty much everyday someone has stopped by, brought meals and hung out for a while.

I am really not enjoying my sleep patterns. I go to bed at 2am wake up 5:30am when dh leaves for work.. Toss and turn till 9am then sleep until 1:30 pm... Not fun..
This morning was not fun I had horrible stomach pains. I think it was gas. It was so bad I drank water, took a tums and went to bed with hope it would get better. Thankfully it did and I am back to normal. I've noticed since on bedrest I get a lot of trapped gas :-/
QOTD: these days it's been my water bottle, ac or fan and pillows :-)
Today will be my last official check-in as I am scheduled for a c-section tomorrow morning. Feeling tired but no longer worried about not making it to tomorrow. I think things will go according to plan. Fingers crossed for a safe c-section and healthy babies.
Met up with another bedrest bumpie for lunch It was fun to meet up pre-babies
Wishing you all the best. I will update when I can and will be watching for your updates!

Today is pretty okay. Nothing much to report, which I guess is a good thing. We are also doing our Thank You cards, so that's taking up some time. Lots of phone calls for my partner to make for different things, but basically that's it!
Hope everyone gets some rest tonight : ) Talk to you all again tomorrow!
Wallace congrats on 28 weeks tomorrow! Huge milestone!

IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)
Funny story: I learned at my doctor's appt that my placenta previa has resolved itself (YEAH). The doctor said that I don't need to be on pelvic rest, although as always there is a chance of PTL, so if DH and I try adult time, he would like for us to go VERY slow and if there is any bleeding, do not try again. I left the appt SUPER EXCITED, while DH left only hearing PTL. DH told me the only way I could get some is if he gets to name our daughter. After much consideration, it's not worth the rest of my life for a name I don't like at all, but I'm super sad because the doctor got my hopes up. I was shocked the doctor was even going to let us try.
QOTD: Pillows!! they help me get comfortable.

Haha! Maybe continuing pelvic rest is better for other reasons. Congratulations on the pp getting better!

Congrats on your previa resolving itself! How far along are you? Did you have partial or complete previa?
I agree I think it's probably for the best that DH is resistant, especially since the previa isn't why I'm on MBR at all.
I had partial previa and went from one week to the next with it resolving itself, it didn't appear to gradually change (I have weekly u/s and they were monitoring the previa as well as my cervical funneling and length). I'm 29 weeks.
