Formula samples

When my son was born I signed up with Enfamil. I said I was planning to breastfeed (he was fed mostly donor breast milk). I got a single check for $1 (YES, $1!) and that was it. No coupons, no samples, nothing. I hear from everyone that they got free cans, $10 checks, all kinds of stuff. What did I do wrong? We still want to feed this LO with donor breast milk but it's really hard to find any sort of regular donors so we will maybe do 50/50 if we are lucky. We are using similac sensitive to supplement now.

Tips??

I've gotten tons of stuff in the mail and I don't remember ever filling out anything for samples.

I signed up for samples on similacs site..i ended up with 2 samples..and we just got some good start samples yesterday and i didnt sign up for that..somehow somewherr i think someone sells your info to these companies..but trying signing up on a different site. Similac gave me 2 small cans a formula, a 4 pack of the pre made formula and about 5 5 off coupons

Ah, thanks, I wonder if it is from signing up elsewhere...We adopted and didn't sign up for anything till she came home so that might explain it! I will sign up on similac's site now and hope for the best.

I have not received anything in the mail. I did get samples from the hospital, at our childbirth class and when I delivered.

This was the same for us, we've gotten a ridiculous amount of formula and didn't sign up for anything. But like the pp said motherhood maternity did give our info to companies so I'm guessing it all came from that?

You can call Enfamil and ask for samples. My OB gave us a certificate for a free enfamil cooler bag from the hospital, but my hospital didnt carry them. The coupon actually stated that if the hospital didnt have the cooler bags to call and they would send one free. It came with a can of formula too, they just ask a few questions and send you the bag for free. The number is 800.222.9123. Get the cooler bag too! Free is free!!!

Wow, that's a crappy mailing

. We got 2 cans of Similac, 4 small bottles of pre-mixed formula, and 4 $5 checks. From Enfamil, we got 1 can and 4 $5 checks. Try signing up again and see what happens. We plan (hopefully!!) to EBF, so if all goes well, I'm happy to semd you our checks in a month or so. Good luck!
