  DH is originally from Galveston, but we've done some things in Houston. I would go to Space Center Houston. There's all kinds of fun attractions there that DS1 would love. If you want beach time you could head to Galveston. There is also Moody Gardens in Galveston, which is fun. We haven't been out there in quite awhile, so I'm not sure I could tell you where we've stayed. DH's sister and BIL stayed at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake for their small honeymoon and they enjoyed it.

  Thanks everyone!  DS1 is obsessed with outerspace and becoming an astronaut- so that would be PERFECT- I hadnt even thought of that!

  The Kemah Boardwalk is fun! 

  However... I HATE Katy Mills Mall. I detested the weird design and colors they used...looked like a 1980s throw-back. I was going to Katy High School when it was being built and when I saw it was like, "OMG *gag*." It might have changed in the last few years, but most of the stores at the time were originally from the Sealy Outlet Mall, who relocated to KM once it was finished, killing the outlet mall.

  I'd rather go to the Houston Galleria for "fun" shopping even if it is hella expensive. They have neater stores and the ice-rink!

  
  
  It does indeed have a crap design and 80's colors. I havent been to the Galleria in years! Man I need to get out of the house more haha
