Since LO has learned how to get herself in a sitting position on her own, she refuses to lay down on her stomach or back to sleep. I lay her down in her crib after her bottle and I walk out. She immediately sits up and starts fussing. She fusses off and on for maybe five minutes or so, then folds over and goes to sleep. She sleeps with her head laying on the bed between her legs. Usually after one or two hours of this, she will move herself into a better position (laying on her side, back, or stomach).
Should I go in and try to move her into a better position and risk waking her up? Or should I just leave her alone, since she will eventually get out of the position herself?
I'm just wondering if there's any harm in her laying that way for a couple of hours. Thanks.
Re: Sleeping Position
I could have seriously written this post!
DD does this EVERY NAP!
At night she's too tired to stand and sit and play/
But every nap she stands up, drops to her bum, then passes out sitting up with her face between her legs- I usually go in and move her ONLY because I know will sleep longer on her back!
But if I leave her she wakes up and plays then passes back out.
So I am torn too.
