Baby aspirin progesterone?

I have had 3 miscarriages over the last year. I'm 31 and have a healthy 4.5 yr old. I had no problems getting pregnant with him. I had a para guard IUD and now can't stay pregnant. I got 11 vials of blood drawn and hubby has too to try to find out what's wrong. My dr says that before trying to conceive to take baby aspirin for a few wks and progesterone before trying. Has anyone done this before? And to also keep taking them during pregnancy

    I have read of baby aspirin use on other message boards...while surfing the web for ttc ideas. I'm not sure what the theory is behind it though. I have also heard of girls using progesterone cream but I read that once you start using it and if you become pregnant that you can't stop use otherwise it puts you at miscarriage risk again.

    I've also heard about progestone suppositories eeek!

    The crap part is that I read complaints that the progestone gives them pregnancy like symptoms the way pms does...

    However I have no expirences with either.

    March 2, 2014 First AF

    Baby aspirin, from what my Dr told me, was to help blood flow if thinner flows easier. Some people have thick blood and need a boost, gig of mine had to take heparin and then was able to conceive. Never heard of progesterone before, but hope helped w bb aspirin!

    I went about 6 cycles ttc naturally but adding progesterone suppositories. I was ovulating really late for a 28 day cycle (around day 19) and my RE added it in with the hopes that if I was conceiving, the progesterone would lengthen my cycle and hold on to any pregnancy. If your luteal phase is too short, you may be conceiving but the embryo might not have time to implant, and AF will wash everything out. In any case, the progesterone on its own did not help. The first 2 cycles on it, I would start my period on day 28 regardless (progesterone is supposed to delay/put off your period). I had to increase to 2 tablets each day. Super messy... 

    Progesterone will not help you to get pregnant, but it will help support a pregnancy when it occurs. My doctor always had me test 14 days after ovulation and if it was negative, stop progesterone, positive - continue and come in for a blood test. (Never got to that point). Progesterone supplementation continues sometimes the entire first trimester.
