  January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

  I have the same question as a previous poster: will you have to pay for a new cycle? I'm sorry this happened.

  He said the cycle would be completely free - I assume meds as well since they run an additional $5,000 (we were OOP for everything).  I will be sure to confirm this when I see him next week.

  Oh I'm so sorry! This is just so sad! At least you have the option of another cycle for free, but truly that is still so sad because you were ready now! Good luck!

  | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm.   I am so sorry to hear that. I can only imagine how disappointed you feel.  That is good that they offered to pay for your next cycle - but I would still hold them accountable. They need to give you an explanation and assure you that this won't happen again.  Honestly - I'd ask for two more cycles and meds!

  Me:38 - TTC for 3+years - Multiple failed IUIs (w/clomid, femara,injectibles - all BFNs) IVF #1 - Jan 2012, CP -IVF#2 March 2012, CP - Went back to IUIs all summer. Multi-Cycle Egg banking for FET. Egg retrieval #1 October, 2 frosties. Retrieval#2 January 2013. 6 eggs banked - waiting to be fertilized in March, FET March! Zero eggs survived thaw process - FET Cancelled. New RE - Now banking Embryos for PGS - July ER- 3 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilized, 1 genetically normal embryo! FET - Feb. 2014, BFP - Mar. 2014, EDD 11/6/14 It's a GIRL!

  If it is the lab's fault, I would make them pay for both cycles! It's not your fault this one didn't work either!

  Wow - never heard of that.  I would be so disappointed!!  They really should have to pay for both cycles (for all the hardship, etc.).  Good luck and I hope you get answers!

  TTC since 9/2011. DH - 32, me 32.

  IUI#1 (natural): BFN; IUI#2 (clomid): BFN; IUI#3 (clomid and follistim): BFN.

  IVF #1 March 2013, freeze all (OHSS).

  FET#1 June: BFN

  FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3).  Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial.  FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.

  *New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.

  IVF #2: ER 3/4/14  ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos.  No frosties.

  Beta #1 (14dp3dt) 504

  Beta #2 (21dp3dt) 11,561

  First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!!  At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore.  Praying that baby B makes it.  Baby B is a girl!

  Oh my goodness- I'm so so sorry. It's nice that you will have your next cycle free- but I'm sorry you have to go through this.

  She's right.  I'm glad he is willing to admit it may be their fault and willing to fix it.  I'm so sorry.  It sucks.  Totally sucks.

  Three ectopic preganacies in left tube in 1999, 2003 and 2004. HSG in 2010 concluded left tube blockage. IUI with femara in 2012 BFN. IVF #1 June 2013, 20 retreived, 14 mature, 12 fertilized via ICSI, one transferred, four frozen, BFN.  FET in September 2013 - BFN:( FET #2 April 2014 - BFP!!!!

  I agree with this. Some other clinics could have just blamed your embryos; (it's so easy to blame the embryos). Good luck with the next cycle and so sorry about this one. It's unbelievable the weird things that happen during this journey!

  I agree with this. Some other clinics could have just blamed your embryos; (it's so easy to blame the embryos). Good luck with the next cycle and so sorry about this one. It's unbelievable the weird things that happen during this journey!

   The first RE we went to messed up prescriptions and appointments all the time and never admitted it was their fault (it was the pharmacy, the receptionist, the nurse, etc).  I'm sure they would have blamed the embryos.  Our current RE is really great - followed up with us to let us know he's still in the process of researching and talking to his partners but so far, no answers.
