New & not many symptons

I'm new on the bump.   According to internet calculations, I am 6 weeks.  I'm not having most of the "problems" that this site said I could be having at this point.  I have the tender/sore nipples and that's it.  No moodiness, exhaustion, or nausea.  I also see a lot of people due when I am that are posting about cravings and eating a lot.  I'm not having any of that either.  Is this normal?

Also, read on the internet that there isn't any point in seeing an OB/GYN until I am 8 weeks.  Is this correct?

Thanks!

Re: New & not many symptons

  • I'm 5 weeks and a few days and the only symptoms I have are the sore/tender boobs, and I'm hungry. I also feel stretching in my ab area but that's it. Everyone is different, enjoy it while you can!

  • 95 percent of anything during pregnancy is normal.

You can always call to make an appointment now, every doctor is different. Most won't see you until 8 to 12 weeks.

  • So reassuring to hear this. I posted something similar earlier! I've only felt sick maybe once or twice and have just had sore boobs and been tired! My doc wouldn't see me till 8 weeks I begged to get in earlier but they wouldn't so I settled for that! I'm also just 6 weeks and 2 days
  • 5 weeks and I don't feel anything but some mild yet consistent cramping which I find a little scary. I just want time to go real fast so to know everything will be ok
  • I am in a similar boat too - breasts are sore, slightly larger and firm. A little spotting the first few days and a little tired.  Otherwise, not much. It may be too early to get all the symptoms yet, or we may be lucky and not have many! Big Smile

  • Thanks everyone for the reassurance!   Maybe we are just very blessed to not be sick!  My husband said, "Do you want to be sick, nauseous, and tired?"   LOL!  Of course not!  Yay us!

I'm pretty patient about seeing the doctor.  I figure they aren't going to tell me much anyway.  :)
