Total AW: Anniversary today

It's DH's and my 3rd wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe in three years we have moved twice, have a 19 month old DD, and one more on the way.

 I planned an overnight getaway in a couple weeks. Our sitter who we absolutely love, is willing to stay over night with DD and our dog so we can have a night to ourselves! I booked a room in a small castle hotel in the Highlands that has great hiking nearby.

Does anyone still give traditional anniversary gifts? I wonder what the gift for three years would be?

  Now I am off to shave my legs while DD is napping since DH will probably want some sex later...

    Happy anniversary! Your plan sound amazing!

    If my new LO is born early by 10 days DH and I would have 2 kids within 2 years of marriage! But I'm ok with that not happening!

    Baby #1 DS born August 2012
    Baby #2 DD Born January 2014
    Baby #3 ?? Due June 5 2015

    We still try to give traditional gifts, with loose interpretation. Last year for our 5th, wood, we gave paper gifts: 1st edition of my favorite book from him, NFL tickets from me. Which sounded awesome, until you said "castle in the Highlands"! Have a great time!

    Diagnosed with PCOS June 2010, TTC#1 since May 2012
    Cycle#1-3 Clomid 50mg + TI= No response
    Cycle#4-5 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1000mg + TI= BFN, but finally ovulation!!!
    Cycle #6 Clomid 150mg + Metformin 1500mg + IUI(4/15)= BFP!!! EDD 01/06/2014 <br>

    Stella Margaret arrived on December 21, 2013!
