Poop on the potty

I said in the potty thread below that I haven't really tried to PT J but he's been asking to go.  Tonight when DH picked him up from dc, he had to pee on the potty before they left.  Then he wanted to pee on the potty right before dinner.  He did great.

After dinner, J asked if he could "Toot on the toilet."  So I put him on the toilet and he pooped!  He was so proud of himself.  I know I need to seize the opportunity since he's so into using the potty right now.  My parents are coming in town this weekend so DH and I can go to a casino for his birthday.  I might try to get my mom to help me PT.  

 Anyways, tl;dr: J pooped on the potty for the first time tonight!

    Woohoo! It sounds like he's really ready & hopefully it'll be a quick transition for him.

    We also had a first poop on the potty here too! I am also going to seize the day and start full on training this week. Of course, now our AC is broken so I'm going to have to focus on that!

    But GL to you! Let's compare notes this weekend ;)

    I'd love to see notes! We started really PTing yesterday and it didn't go so great. Plus he didn't poop so that makes me nervous. Ugh.

    Yay, Jilly! Hopefully our LOs can keep it up. I can't believe i'm so excited about poop.

    Keags, on Saturday when J was in underwear all day, he didn't poop. As soon as I put the diaper back on him, he went.

    Yay J!

    I would take this opportunity and run with it, he sounds like he is ready. Maybe keep the excitement going by picking out stickers for a potty chart (huge part of O's success) and picking out some big boy underwear at the store.
