Who knew all it took was a visit my family in Florida to get re-hired!
So i got a call from my my previous regional vp and she told me they have an interim director of human resources role available at one of the healthcare facility locations that may be perm after a few months and if i would be willing to consider it (she knows i left to be home with my son)
I told her i could if its a 4 day week, my hours are 730a-330p, an increased salary, extra vacation days, sign on bonus, she agreed and i dont have to interview. im going to start in a month or so.
Well my LO will go to school 2 days a week. I adore my lo's school he is going to attend but will still miss our daytime activity together and i worry a bit about him adjusting ya know.
i wfh only pt though as a consultant now. how did you transition back to work outside the home?
Re: cant believe it
You might be surprised how much you enjoy the adult interaction of the office setting. It could just be me, but sometimes I need those 2 days a week I have in the office. I always miss her, don't get me wrong...
