cart / highchair covers

Does anyone use a cart / highchair cover? What are your thoughts on them? Recommend a brand/style?

I didn't think it was necessary, but my little niece got hand, foot, and mouth (maybe from a shopping cart, they think)... and now I'm feeling like a total germaphobe.

    Me too. I looked at them the other day but didn't buy one. 99% of the time we go to target or somewhere like that, he's asleep in his carrier so I haven't had an immediate need for one. But will very soon.

    We got one as a shower present, I haven't used it yet, since we still use the snap and go or Ergo, but was thinking of pulling it out this weekend and trying it out.

    We have an Eddie Bauer one from Target. I take it everywhere! It works great in all the shopping carts I've used and in high chairs in restaurants. It doesn't exactly fit in the high chairs but it still works better than nothing or just a blanket.

    We have a cart cover and love it. Sometimes I put her in the Ergo but she really likes sitting up in the cart. I was using that as a high chair cover too but it's a cloth material and I got tired of washing it so I just bought her a new one. I can't remember the name of it right now (ordered it off of Zulily) but it wipes clean and has made our lives much easier!

    We have a skip hop one that came from BRU.  I like it because its not big and fluffy, so it easily can stuff into the diaper bag.  It also has loops that toys can hook to, so DD can stay entertained without losing her toys.

    My aunt made one for me.  There are several different patterns if you or someone you know sews.  We use ours periodically.  I really like the loops that are sewn in to connect toys.
