Seems to be a lot of Newbies these days! Hubby and I have been trying for 3 yrs... I start my first clomid cycle this week... very excited, nervous, worried and impatient! I have a 18y and a 16 yr old... looking forward to starting all over! I am 39 hubby is 40...
The more I read... and learn... the more I realize there is a lot that can go right... and a lot that can go wrong...
Are the clomid side effects really that bad? Has anyone had success on their first try? Does anyone have any "tips".. that the doctors dont tell you? hahaha one woman said to stand on your head for 10 min after sex... at this point I would be willing to try anything... ![]()
I am so happy to have found this forum... This is one of those things.. that if you arent living it... you just cant understand it..

Re: Newbie too
Welcome.
I didn't find the side effects uncontrollable on Clomid but it certainly was a different enough feeling that I took a break from medicated cycles. The first cycle was the worst, after that, I knew what to expect.
Good luck. Hope your stay here is short.
Welcome!
I am a newbie myself. I have been lurking and have learned a lot from these ladies.
I hope we aren't on this board for long.
welcome- hope your stay is short and sweet!
Clomid made me irritable but that is about it. Make sure you are being properly monitored. Clomid can thin your lining, give you nasty cysts etc...
Good luck!
