We have both a Vicks and a crane brand one. I like them both and they have been easy to keep clean. I would get a larger capacity one, I hate refilling them.

We have a crane humidifier that we love! They have cute animal designs that work perfectly in a nursery (owl, big, elephant, frog). It's a cool mist which is safe for your LO. I've had to clean it once because of calcified water, but its simple... just a couple capfuls of white vinegar and fill with 1/2 way with water and let it sit for 30 mins, then it will work like new.
We've have the Crane teardrop shape cool mist one that we use intermittently and have been happy with it. It's quiet, has good dispersal and lasts quite a while once filled. Since we're light users, maintenance and cleaning has been fairly easy and there's no filters to clean or replace. I use distilled water since we have hard tap water and I don't have to worry about issues with mineral buildup.

We have this one too. Works GREAT and the little frog looks cute in his jungle themed nursery.
