I am sure I am not the only one who is thinking..."I am washing bottles all the time!!!!"
How are you washing / drying your LO's bottles?
I used to put bottles in soapy water and use a brush to wash them. Then, dry them on a drying rack. Once is a while, I used a Medela microwave bag to sterilize. However, since LO's feeding went up recently, I am using Dr. Browns bottles, which are a lot bigger and come with tons of parts, so I bought a Dr. Browns Sterilizer which sterilizes bottles in 12 minutes. I still wash bottles in a soapy water before putting them in there and it takes forever for bottles to dry!!! Do I have to wait to pour milk until they are completely dry??
My kitchen has been taken over by bottles, ugh!!

Re: How are u cleaning milk bottles?
We use Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles and the munchkin dishwasher baskets. I can fit the nipples, blue tubes, and rubber circle thingies for six bottles in one basket and put the collars and travel caps in another. I also rinse the blue tubes using the little brush they give you. We just do a normal dish washing cycle, followed by our washer's sani option, on the top rack. Everything gets super hot, so we just lay it all out on our Boon Lawn drying rack overnight. We hand dry the bottles, travel caps, and formula pitchers before making the formula for the next day.

I use Dr. Brown too (glass). When I was using 4 oz bottles, I filled them all up for the day (I think I had 7 bottles) and kept in the fridge. I did not wait for them to dry before filling. When DS moved on to big bottles, I would just prefilll the bottle with the amount of water I needed to make the formula per bottle. As needed I would put the formula in there, shake and serve.
With the big bottles, I have 12 of them so I wash in the dishwasher. I have an OXO basket for all the small parts.

Up until about 6 months, I was letting them soak in hot soapy water and then scrubbing them clean. I let them sit in the drying rack until completely dry. I also cleaned bottles everyday because we only had enough for a full day.
Once I went back to work, I ordered more bottles and run them through the dishwasher every other day (I rinse them and then put them in the dishwasher). We use the munchkin baskets. Since I've been back to work, it's all about convenience.
