registering for two.....yikes!!!

I have been following the baby bargain guide and looking up MOM's opinions on all sorts of things but I can't find the answer to this anywhere so I figured I'd reach out to you girls and all of the experience on this page!!! We have a two story home, Prior to expecting baby x2 I always thought we'd have a pack and play on the first floor with a changer in it so baby had room to sleep and we had a quick stop and stock of diapers and space to change on the first floor. Now I'm puzzled, short of getting two pack and play's is there a way to accommodate both baby's sleeping room and changing area with one piece of baby gear? We just don't have that much space on our first floor.

  • For daytime i keep one pnp downstairs. we use it only for changing at this point. i keep extra outfits, bibs and burp cloths in the sleeping area. diapers and wipes in the little diaper caddy. when we had our singleton, he took naps in there instead of it being storage for stuff. they girls do fit in the pnp together still now, but babrely. you'd just have to take the changer off so one isn't stuck under it.

  • We had a somewhat cramped 2story house the first 2.5 years. We had a PnP downstairs but they didn't really nap in it; they napped upstairs in their room. I wish we'd had one set of bouncy seats per floor.

  • We have 2 bouncy seats on the first floor and 2 RNPs on the second floor. Changing table is upstairs since I BF them on the bed in our bedroom upstairs. No PNP.

  • Can someone give you a changing table? We have one in our main living are and one upstairs and its been the best! I'm so glad we did that. I recommend a Joovy 2 playpen for when they get mobile to stash them in. I have a PNP given to me in the garage for outside days. I recommend putting an all call out on FB for the stuff and people always want to get rid of stuff. I had one set of new things and one set of borrowed things.
  • We had two Rock-N-Plays for them to sleep in downstairs.  We kept a diaper tote with all the changing essentials.  To this day we have never used their changing table we just always change them on the floor or the ottoman.
