So, DD finally at 5.5 months learned to roll back to belly last week and promptly started belly sleeping (huge win for bedtime, she just rolls over and falls asleep). Yesterday, she figured out how to roll belly to back and rolled herself around the living room. AND, this weekend, she finally consolidated all of her annoying little 30min naps and now takes an hour-long nap at 10am and a 2hr-long nap at 2pm. SCORE! I'm really looking forward to actually getting stuff done...until it all changes again! Haha.

My husband got a super generous job offer last week and then got an even better counter offer from his current employer.

My baby brag is that DD is almost crawling and has one little gorgeous tooth popping out. I swear she is the most amazing thing in my life.

Happy Half Birthday! Yay!

My baby brag is DS STTN for a week straight now! It's been hit and miss before now. Not only is he STTN but he's sleeping in until 8 or 8:30. No more 6am wakeups on my days off! He's soooo close to crawling, he's doing that rocking on all fours thing and almost has it figured out. He's also really enjoying solids more! Instead of spitting half of it out he is gobbling it right down and asking for more. A precursor to how well he's going to empty my fridge when he's older perhaps?

And as always I'm super lucky to have such a beautiful, happy boy! Love, love, love him!

DD is crawling for the most part, sitting for long periods unassisted, and is pulling herself up to standing. I thought I had a few more months before I had to watch her like a hawk! So so cute though! Can't believe how big my baby girl has gotten.

Got my period today! Not pregnant! It's my second one PP and as expected, they are nowhere near regular (I used to be like clockwork), so it's a little nerve-racking each month. Another baby would be welcomed, but we are trying to be careful for the next few months anyway.

kid aw: not only do my 4.5 year old twins still nap for 3 hours every day, but I have their little sisters napping for the same 3 hours at the same time as the boys every day. 2 sets of twins, both napping at the same time each day for 3 hours...I'm totally high-fiving myself!

DD had a super big week last week. She turned 6 months old, started sitting up unassisted, and starting STTN. Felt like the luckiest, and most proud, mom ever.

dd will be 7 months on saturday!!!!!!!!!!!

and she's been pulling herself up to stand for like, 3 weeks now...its crazy...she's growing so fast! it was like, i'll roll over, no bored with that, i'll sit up, no, that's not fun...i'll crawl! no..bored! i can stand!!!!!!!!! all within like, a month's time this all went down

the dr said she's almost developmentally like a 9 month old! i guess that's a good thing? i guess that's what i get for yelling "do something!" when she was so little laying there like a lump....now i'm all "just grow a tooth or clap or something!" not ready for her to walk at all....the daycare says she's the most mobile one in the class, and she's one of the youngest....

also, not baby related, we FINALLY have a very promising lead for our house...he's driven by it a few times, and has been waiting for us to drop the price (just did on friday, it hurt, but we have to move asap)...he's coming to see it thursday...wish us luck! however, now that she's really trying to move, maybe staying in a ranch would be safer than a house with stairs

Over the weekend I started working with DS on napping in the crib and not his swing. We had a few 30 min whining sessions where I kept putting the paci in his mouth and rubbing his face but he started getting the hang of it. Last night I decided to put him in his crib instead of the mini arms reach cosleeper he has been sleeping in since he was born. I woke up a lot to check but he slept till 7:40am. He is such an easy baby!!

My guy is nowhere close to sitting solo, crawling (army or other), pulling himself up, cutting teeth, eating solids with ease, or STTN... but everyday he finds something new to smile and laugh at, and both are 100% contagious
