2ww question about spotting..

Good morning ladies!!

I have a quick question about spotting. I am 14dpiui and of course was too impatient to wait for my blood test on Wednesday morning. I already started peeing on wondfos last week and finally took a pregnancy test yesterday morning. It came out positive which would be absolutely amazing due to the timing. I had my IUI done the exact same day, July 2nd as I did for my son 2 years earlier which I think is just crazy special timing. Problem is I started spotting yesterday which did not happen with my son. I still have my blood test Wednesday morning...but should I be concerned or just wait to see how my next three blood tests go and see if my numbers double?

Spotting after a BFP is not normal but it is common. I did when I was pregnant with DS - bright red. Nobody here can tell you that everything is definitely okay. If you are not cramping as well I think that is a good sign. At this point there really isn't much you can do besides wait for your betas and see how they go. If you call your RE you might be able to go in today or tomorrow for your first beta instead of waiting until Wednesday. Congratulations on your BFP and good luck!

Thank you. I did have a ton of cramping yesterday which freaked me out. So hopefully it will pass and all will be fine. Until then I will wait to see what my betas show. EEk

I have never had spotting during pregnancy, but I know plenty of ladies who have, so GOOD LUCK

There are different kinds of cramping. I had AF like cramping until like 12 weeks or so. That's fine and normal. But if it's painful cramping, that would be more worrisome. GL, FX it's normal cramping and spotting. Let us know about your betas!!

I had AFlike cramping and some light spotting in the first few weeks and I was sure I was done, but then I ended up getting a BFP. Spotting was after I'd POAS and before beta and scared me to death. FX it's just LO getting snuggled up in there!

Hope so! We do not have money for round two since we move in less then a month so I am really hoping it sticks!

I had spotting on 10 and 11dpo then bfp on 12dpo. Congrats!!
